The Amber Alert issued by Vernon RCMP has been cancelled after the suspect and his daughter were found in Delta.
Delta's Emergency Response Team moved into the neighborhood at 116th and 94th at two this morning after the suspect's 1999 green Ford minivan was found there.
Negotiations with the suspect - 37-year-old Shane Phalen - ended at 7:16 this morning when he surrended.
His 15-year-old daughter Breeze Boden was found unharmed.
The amber alert was issued last night.
The girl was living with her grandmother in Vernon.
Police earlier said the girl had gone 'willingly' with her father.
Phalen recently lost his job and suffers from addiction issues.
